SciVation Xtend

First and foremost, I’m a big fan of the SciVation brand. They’re doing it right. They’re science guys, they care (that’s always important to me), and the quality of their products is amazing. I think their Xtend product is probably the best that I’ve found, and I’ve taken just about every supplement to date in that category. It’s a branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) product.

BCAA’s are what I call muscle insurance. When your body is looking for energy, BCAAs are what it’s going to use. This product protects your muscle in those instances, preventing your body from breaking it down into energy.
